Arcams Limited · Waste Transformation

Waste is not the end
of a story. It is the beginning of one.

Arcams Limited transforms residual waste into energy — and makes every tonne of it accountable. One standardised plant, built at strategic sites the Company secures, and proven before it is multiplied. One software layer, FAITE™, that tracks, verifies and prices the carbon consequence of waste.

Part I · The Problem

Buried, burned
or exported.

Residual waste is not addressed — it is removed. And the disappearance is mistaken for a solution.

Britain's residual waste

The L.I.E.

In the United Kingdom, residual waste is not addressed — it is removed. Buried, burned or exported, it disappears from view, and the disappearance is mistaken for a solution. Arcams calls this three-part mechanism the L.I.E. (Landfill, Incineration, Export). Each is a means of deferral, not resolution. Cleanliness became confused with disappearance — and disappearance became confused with solution.

≈26.1 million tonnes

Two ends of one broken system

The energy gap.

Waste and energy are usually treated as separate crises. They are two ends of the same broken system — and the country pays twice: once to dispose of waste, and again to replace the energy it has discarded. Material containing usable energy is buried and burned while power is imported through undersea cables.

Only one viable question remains: what happens when there is nowhere left to send the L.I.E.?

A fixed timetable

The regulatory reckoning.

The cost of the L.I.E. has been invisible because it has been unmeasured and unpriced. That is changing on a fixed timetable — regulation is converting waste from an unpriced externality into a measured, reported and charged liability.

A voluntary monitoring, reporting and verification period runs from January 2026. A surrendered cost on fossil CO2 is to follow on a timetable the UK ETS Authority has yet to set — an estimated £48 per tonne of waste (Ceres for SUEZ, 2025), adding an estimated £747m to council costs in 2028 rising to £1.1bn by 2036, modelled on the start the Authority has since withdrawn.

Part II · The Solution

The closed loop
of transformation.

Arcams does not optimise the existing system; it is built to replace the residual leg of it. The Company builds standardised plants at strategic sites it secures under twenty-year leases; waste is brought to those sites and transformed, on site, into energy — every tonne measured, reported and verified as it moves. The discipline is singular: prove one line to the highest standard, then multiply it.

The repeatable plant

The Arcams 325.

The repeatable plant is the Arcams 325 — the Company's standardised transformation plant. An installed plant is an Arcams; each installation carries its place name, and the estate is counted in the name. Everything is decided once, so no site pays for its own learning curve — and the site is paid on what arrives, not on what burns. One line occupies approximately half an acre; a site scales by adding lines.

Combustion equipment in continuous delivery at the build hall

The proven builder

A cadence, not
a prototype.

A programme of standardised plants stands or falls on who builds the machine. The complete line — shredding to capture — is manufactured by Arcams Engineering. Combustion-plant engineers have spent two decades designing, building and commissioning plants across the cremation, animal-by-product and waste industries, with an established equipment business in continuous delivery.

The 325 is the productisation of proven combustion engineering — engineered down from a proven twin-line plant the team built for a site in Mecca, Saudi Arabia. The primary rotary cylinder alone weighs approximately 200 tonnes, and its refractory lining is bricked rather than poured — so wear is repaired, not rebuilt.

The equipment is supplied at cost, with no intercompany margin — the Company's capital buys plant, not internal profit. The capability sits within the Company's group by share exchange. Build one line superbly; then build many.

The second engine

Every tonne.
Every movement.

From October 2026, every permitted site that receives waste in England and Wales must record it digitally. Digital Waste Tracking is submit-only — whoever stores the data becomes the operator's only queryable record. FAITE is built to be that durable system of record: the tracking and verification rail for waste, and the engine that allocates the measured carbon cost of energy-from-waste to the customers, waste codes and loads that caused it. The allocation no established product serves.

The regulatory calendar sets the release calendar: the filing rail is designed around the Digital Waste Tracking mandate, in force from October 2026. It is why the strategy begins not with concrete, but with data.

Software that earns ahead of steel — compliance as a by-product of operations.

Arcams is built around a single principle: transformation without verification is no longer sufficient.

On-Land · Physical

Arcams Foundation — Waste for Life™

The closed loop carried, at cost, to waste-burdened communities

Value, not revenue

The interlocks are why the loop closes: bottom ash becomes the structural blocks that seal and rebuild reclaimed land. Recovered material returns as fuel, and the land the loop clears becomes the ground communities stand on.

The streams form a single closed loop. Nothing is wasted — not waste, not land, not a single life.

Part III · The Opportunity

One proven plant.
Then a network.

Prove the model, then replicate it — at pace, without deviation.

The demand, measured

Two gaps,
one company.

Gap one

The first gap is physical.

Arcams' target counterparty is a materials recycling facility — and the arithmetic of what it is left holding.

≈75,000 tBlack-bag waste received each year by a typical materials recycling facility
Up to 50,000 tRecovered and returned to use
≈25,000 tResidual material whose only present destination is the L.I.E.

Company estimate, 2026

The scale a single Arcams is sized to receive. The solution is sized to the problem.

Gap two

The second gap is informational.

The carbon cost of energy-from-waste is measured at the stack — yet no established product can fairly apportion it to the customers, waste codes and loads that caused it.

≈45Organisations surveyed — none identified a product that delivers this allocation

Company market survey, 2026

That unserved requirement is FAITE.

≈12,000

Permitted sites face the same calendar. One company, built to close both gaps at once.

The discipline

Decided once.
Repeated well.

One standard design, decided once; long-lead orders, permits and crews all counting backwards from commissioning dates. Every pound is gated by pre-agreed go/no-go gateways — architecture proven before build, one plant proven before the estate multiplies. Planning delivers the community-embraced blueprint: consultation early, every town pleased to receive its Arcams.

Each Arcams is the same commercial template — one standard design, a twenty-year lease, paid on what arrives, not on what burns. Proving one proves the template.

The programme begins with a single proven site; this is the shape of where it leads — transformation infrastructure, plant by plant, town by town, where the waste already is.

Who we are

The name, the symbol,
the mission.

“arc”

Arca — Latin for “vault”.

“ams”

Caminus — Latin for “furnace”.

The Arcams symbol — the infinity loop and the butterfly

Together they form Arcams: a vaulted furnace, where waste becomes energy and energy becomes prosperity. What the world stores away as worthless, Arcams holds as a vault of misplaced value — and the furnace is how that value is released.

Our symbol unites the infinity loop and the butterfly — nature's alchemist. It embodies transformation without end. As the caterpillar dissolves to become the butterfly, Arcams takes what the world has left behind and gives it a second life — breathing energy into scarcity, nurture into neglect and dignity into what was once discarded.

Our mission

To transform the world's waste into products & energy that empower humanity.

Our vision

To build a decentralised, emissionless waste transformation infrastructure that ensures generational sustainability.

Part IV · The Contribution

The Arcams Foundation
— Waste for Life™.

The same infrastructure that builds a business can rebuild a community.

Generated, not extracted

Given, not taken.

The Foundation takes the closed loop, at the Company's own cost and with government and charity partners, to the world's most waste-burdened communities — those living on or beside open, uncontrolled dumps. It is never a draw on invested capital: generated, not extracted; given, not taken. Its operational home is the Arcams Global Support Centre in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

  1. Identify the site
  2. Take the waste in
  3. Generate energy and power
  4. Drill, generate and recycle water
  5. Recover the building blocks
  6. Build the community
  7. Reverse, irrigate and grow

The value of this stream is measured not in returns but in lives changed — and it is the reason the rest of the model exists.

Concept imagery, not a photograph — children playing in a community rebuilt by the closed loop
Waste for Life™ · concept imagery — the closed loop, given back

What waste becomes, in the end, is the mission stated plainly: energy, water, shelter and harvest. From waste to walls; from walls to wellbeing. Teach a trade — transform a life.

Waste becomes wealth, power becomes possibility, and communities rise again — where the world's heaviest burden becomes its brightest beacon.
